The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) has initiated a comprehensive project to develop Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for each of its individual divisions and units to ensure Continuity of Government (COG).
NYSIF has selected BOLDplanning.com, a Business Continuity Planning system to assist in the creation of its BCP plans and ongoing plan development. BOLDplanning.com is a web-based planning tool, designed to guide organizations through the process of developing a Business Continuity Plan.
The BOLDplanning.com system walks planners through each step of the BCP planning process and helps develop a plan that outlines a clear, concise understanding of roles and responsibilities needed to ensure an organization’s transition during times of change in normal operation.
For this project, the BOLDplanning.com system was modified to meet the specific planning needs of NYSIF. It is accessed via the internet at www.NYSIFcontinuity.com for this agency-wide planning process.
